What are the Insurance deals like on CUK?

Does anyone operating as a Ltd Co. have insurance provided by the advertisers on CUK and are they any good?

My public liability ins. is due for renewal in a couple of days and the premium is going to be £220 and all I get is cover for injury to other people. Me thinks me being shafted somewhere.

Can anyone comment or recommend where to get competitive cover for all the things we Ltd Co. contractors need to have.

    Many thanks

Dont waste your money on insurance. You are not going to injure someone.
    Are you ?

Its the law - if you're a Ltd Co. you're legally required to have public liability insurance. One agency asked me for my certificate of insurance once.

        Discounted insurance

Contractor Alliance is offering discounted insurance, see the sticky thread at the top. 20% off.

Be careful of buying insurance that doesn't exist (once advertised on here)

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

If I was working on a Air Traffic System or anything that could result in death should it fail, then I would consider insurance...
