It can't be as weird as Eraserhead, have you seen that?
Why the avatar? Well anyone accused of plotting against Gordon Brown can't be all bad.

Never seen Eraserhead...although I believe I heard it's at least got a structured plot? (as well as loads of weird bits).

I have seen Blue Velvet, Mullholland Drive, and now this...I never learn!

I used to be a bit of a fan, have got "Twin Peaks - Fire walk with me" and "Wild at Heart" (Laura Dern is a real stunner IMO) on video.

Blue Velvet is a classic, but I have yet to see "Mulholland Drive"

I love "Wild at Heart" - one of my very favourite films.

Blue Velvet is good, Eraserhead is pretty good in a wierd way. I wanted to like Mulholland Drive, but it's just too hard to follow. I never managed to get into Twin Peaks.

And then there was his version of "Dune", possibly the most boring film ever made.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

I'll look out for Inland Empire - what is it about?

If any film could be boring and rivetting at the same time, it was Eraserhead.

I dunno if it is possible to describe Inland Empire! It's like David Lynch made a standard David Lynch movie...then sliced it into pieces, shuffled it, and stuck them all back together! No, that's not right. More like he grabbed the rolls of film to about 20 different movies, sliced them up, shuffled them, then glued them back together!

'On the surface' it is about a successful Hollywood actress (Laura Dern) beginning work on a new movie. She then finds out that the film is a remake of an old Polish film, in which the two leads were murdered. She then becomes convinced the movie is haunted...and becomes obsessed that the film is a parallel of her own life.

Then a family with rabbits heads appears...and off we go

Defiintely worth seeing for the amazing visual effects...and just to see how far Lynch can go. I jumped out of my seat 3 times, but it could have been worse

I hope you see it and enjoy it Wendigo!
