I've been given 28 days (to work out !!!), wish it was in leiu, that would be too reasonable I expect. Not sure I'll do it though, I'll probably walk in a week or so, it's too soul destroying to be there knowing you're not wanted.

Uh Oh ! I see a permie type attachment to the contract, you need to cut it !Originally posted by LucyI've been given 28 days (to work out !!!), wish it was in leiu, that would be too reasonable I expect. If I remember rightly you've been having a bit of trouble with some bods there for a while, if there is conflict and if you are the type to speak your mind then eventually you are shown the door, its a fact of life. I'd grit your teeth, shut your gob as much as possible and work out your 28 days on a strict 9 to 5 basis. After years of speaking my mind and being shown a few doors I now try very very hard to keep stum and concentrate on sending in my invoices on a regular basis. Use up your energy outside of work ! Sermon over !Last edited by rootsnall; 2 March 2007, 09:43.Comment

What sort of lunatic organisation allows IT people they've fired to stay on site with access to their corporate network?Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
