    You are aware that just writing something into UK law doesn't make it legal aren't you?

    For starters there are other conventions e.g. EHCR, and International Law that applies too

    Creating a law that basically says it's illegal for people to come here but giving them no way to claim asylum fails our obligations under other laws and treaties
