    New New Labour.

You gotta make London work for you baby. Last time I was here I had to train it in to London everyday - nightmare - y know the story. This time round I've moved into London and am 10mins stroll to work. Sure rent is more $$ but I dont pay £3000 a year for f*cked up trains. I am also a couple of stops from London city airport so can easily go for European weekend breaks without too much grief.

        Wow! Impressive!

Have you thought about getting into the corporate (and political) branding market Prawn?

Myself, I would have suggested 'Even Newer Labor' (dropping the 'u' for a more simpatico feel with our US sponsors)**.

** and on the grounds that 'u' is no longer necessary here.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

as we know with the budget airlines it is now cost effective to have a good paying job (can be permy or contract) in the UK (or elsewhere) and fly back and forth from south of france, spain, cz, pl, etc

and if you can negotiate 1 or more days a week working from home or vice versa only a 4 day working week (and the drop in pay) then this 3 nights away from home regime becomes something to seriously consider

          Milan.
I would do it only short term. I think it's a lot of hassle to be away from your family for half of your time. Life's too short.

I was doing two flights a week between Madrid/Brussels. It's no way to live, you end up exhausted and with a permanent cold from the flights.

Take the pay cut, and spend more time with your family somewhere nice.

I'm moving to Brazil in June!

Or just get a motorbike? I am currently in London as a permy, looking to get a contract soon and then sell my flat and move out of London, maybe in a year or so move to Europe, canada or Oz

I love the UK - I complete and utterly love it all.

Rainy mornings, the local pub, sausage and mash, the news of the world, watching the footy results come in on a Saturday afternoon, my new best friend Gala Bingo......whats not to love?!!! And thats just the pikey cheap stuff!

The humour is superb here, the people are great - and such a mix of them!

I never get bored here - totally love it

And I love all of you too

And that's all, that's the problem. In other countries they do actually enjoy other things to do rather than pubs and bingos.
