RMT are not affiliated to Labour. Today I found out they haven't been since 2004 and have deliberately funded candidates to stand against Labour ones at elections.

The nobody who was giving media interviews on the picket line in central London is due to be dis-selected by his local party and is a Corbynite. Plus he undermined his own shadow secretary of state who happens to be a woman. Old Labour has an issue with women in power.
