    bored out of my mind

been at my latest gig for two months and there is very little work for me to do. The project I was suppose to be working on has been delayed and looks like it won't be starting anytime soon. They seem to have got me on board at least three months too early!
Two months left on the contract and it's very likely that they will extend. I'm just not sure I can take the boredom anymore. I have asked if there is anything the client would like me to work on whilst I wait for the project to kick off but they don't seem interested.
The support services I provide for the 35 users of the application I look after takes up at most 1 hour per day.
Should I just shut up and take my £400 per day? How do I pass the other 6.5 hours of my working day?

You just came to the right place, sign in here and enjoy the fun. Start spontaneous random pointless arguments and abuse the muppetry. Works for me!!

Reading porno mags in the bogs. Long lunches. Learn online. Post more tulipe on CUK. The list is endless. Use your imagination. Maybe it's an initiative test?

I had a friend who did a 2 yr contract at HP on £500/day and never did a single days work there. He spent all day online share trading using the money he was earning to make a small fortune.

I do about one hour a day, the rest surfing the net and online gaming. It's a hard life.

One day I might even pick up a book and do some studying.

Good lad. Remember, at the critical moment just think how much you'll be charging your client for the priviledge of having a w@nk in their bogs and it will make your climax truly earth-shattering.

                  I guess you're inside IR35 then?

Anyway, I had a friend who did a 2 yr contract at HP on £500/day and never did a single days work there. He spent all day online share trading using the money he was earning to lose a small fortune.
