You will need to explain that a bit, I'm 28 and have quite a bit of experience. I'd accept 250 just to get that first contract under my belt though. If you are in games QA then get out ASAP! I used to work testing games for Eidos, moved to Sky TV testing iTV apps and almost doubled my moneyOriginally posted by CptFantasticI'm in the wrong QA
that was years ago though

I used to
I was first in iTV testing then moved into testing the hardware. If its an old box though nothing to do with me! A lot of old boxes are failing as they are old basically. I was only really involved in testing that the hardware worked correctly we didnt actually do the testing of the software so my job was more about occilscopes, voltages etc etcComment

Was immensely gratified when the LNB on the chimbly died the other year.
I now have a dish farm in my front bedroom.
I actually started doing testing on the LNBs just before I left, basically a lot of people in the field were losing their channels after storms, all to do with signal to noise etc etc, anyway I left Sky mainly as I found the hardware really boring to test, I was also doing an Electronics course at uni which they paid for but I just much prefer testing software.Comment
