And Yes one year plus after the virus started and with Chinese authorities deciding what the WHO team see - this is a really qualified statement.
Scientists never give a definite "yes" or "no" answer as things change.

List Escaped viruses as at 2014

      https://armscontrolcenter.org/wp-con...17-14-copy.pdf

2006 paper16 claimed to have isolated H1N1 influenza virus RNA from ice and
meltwater from Siberian lakes that were frequented by migratory birds. S

Only since 2009-2010 did major papers begin to state directly the 1977
emergence of H1N1 influenza was a laboratory related release
: “The most famous case of
a released laboratory strain is the re-emergent H1N1 influenza A virus which was first
observed in China in May of 1977 and in Russia shortly thereafter21.” The paper made
this statement in part because the continued “agnostic” approach to the 1977 reemergence introduced unacceptable errors in calculating the genomic divergence dates
      for influenza virus strains.

Actually Scientists used to give definitive yes or no answers based on empirical evidence, this is why we have things like laws of thermodynamics, motion, relativity etc & the only one subject to change that I know of is post nuclear the Conservation of Mass
I suspect you are confusing yourself with modern thinking where hypotheses and postulates such as man made climate change lack the evidence to support as de facto, but nevertheless have been politicised to become statements of fact & as with all theories are subject to revision and amendments

Actually (God I hate people who use that word - please don't turn up at CUK meet up as I bet you will be really annoying - pedantic with a nasal speech) SE said things. In this case things is laws, hypotheses and postulates. So you have pretended SE is wrong - but then agreed with her.

Don't disagree with SE. Ask her husband what happens.

Covid-19 pandemic: China 'refused to give data' to WHO team

Covid-19 pandemic: China 'refused to give data' to WHO team

Covid-19 pandemic: China '''refused to give data''' to WHO team - BBC News

China refused to hand over key data to the World Health Organization (WHO) team investigating the origins of Covid-19, one of its members has said.

Microbiologist Dominic Dwyer told Reuters, the Wall St Journal and the New York Times the team requested raw patient data from early cases, what he called "standard practice",

He said they only received a summary.

China has not responded to the allegation but has previously insisted it was transparent with the WHO.

The US has urged China to make available data from the earliest stages of the outbreak, saying it has "deep concerns" about the WHO report.

Last week, the WHO team concluded it was "extremely unlikely" that the coronavirus leaked from a lab in the city of Wuhan, dismissing a controversial theory that emerged last year.

he investigators had asked for raw data on the 174 identified cases of Covid-19 from Wuhan in December 2019, Professor Dwyer told Reuters.

Only half of the early cases had been exposed to the seafood market where the virus was initially detected.

google maps "moved" the Wuhan Institute of Virology 15 miles away from the wet market when in fact it is 300 only metres away

They can't really hide this any longer. It's becoming accepted fact and we are about to hit the point where normal politicians will agitate for action.

It's no surprise Donald was right all along.

the biggest coronavirus research lab in the world is in the same place as the worlds biggest coronavirus outbreak.

of course it is unrelated. the chinese govt said so.
