I love London, adore York, and obviously Newcastle rocks...but the BEST place in the country as far as I'm concerned is Manchester.
Its got everything (except a coast), and now it also as a Super Casino!

I was on a very cool hen weekend in Cambridge a couple of years ago. We all donned pink wigs and matching outfits (about 40 of us), caused a bit of a riot and got in the local paper

Given the dodgy quality of manc women a casino has to be a good thing otherwise what else would you do for entertainment up there?
