Scotland increased it's ICU beds from 190 to 700 over the summer.

We have 28 COVID ICU patients.

Nothing you say is even remotely based upon reality.

So Scotland has been also able to increase its trained number of ICU nurses by that proportion in summer as well?

You know hospitals have always had beds they can use as "ICU beds", but without the trained ICU nurses to man them they can't be used. Any hospital staff member who deals with ICU can show you this and explain it to you. (Though currently they can't do it in a hospital.)

Also, in terms of "facts", Scotland had 275 intensive care beds in March (according to NHS Scotland), of which 190 were level 3, the others being level 2/3.
By June the number of ICU beds in Scotland had increased to 585, with plans to go up to 700, but no official evidence that the goal was ever reached.

I don't know if you have some kind of learning issues, that link clearly says 31 in ICU ( for yesterday ).

It will be changed shortly to todays updated number of 33.

So you admit you were completely wrong with your claim of 28, now accepting that it's 31.

• 377 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19; of these 31 were in intensive care
• in the week ending 7 October there were 12 patients who have ever been confirmed COVID-19 admitted to intensive care

31 recent +12 longer = 43
