I'll pay £30 for a good whip round most weekends.

Buy the same car with a skoda badge?
I remember the good old days of this site when people used to moan about serious contractor related issues like house prices and immigration. How times have changed!?

Nice to have cost alot to run, Ive got A3 just come out of warrenty and the fecking Alternator packed up, total cost to fit and replace new one £310. Then needed a service, new brake disks and pads, and two front tyres, total cost for the £930 !
So total spend this month £1240 !

Wouldnt go for the 2.0 fsi either, you want the 2.0T fast car

              Modern cars are expensive.

My last manager (i hated him as he was a *****) had the fuel pump pack up in his focus. Cost him over £1200 to get it replaced as its tied into the ECU and alarm.

              I pointed, laughed then left.

How the feck is the fuel pump tied into the ecu?

All it is is a pump that sits in the fuel tank & pumps fuel...

And don't get me started on throttle pedals connected via software...
