I rarely gamble now but it was like 10/4 a month ago.

Can still make money on 13/10.

Seems reasonable odds. Biden is a pretty rubbish Dem establishment candidate; Trump is an incompetent nutjob during a global pandemic but with populist appeal. Could easily go either way.

Trump was smart in April, he said he had "total" authority in the state's COVID plans. Predictably the press spent a week writing about how legally he had no control.

Then he is like "aye, you're probably right".

His ability to manipulate his enemies is second to none.

It's a useful political skill, but I'm not sure it balances out completely screwing up a response to a global pandemic.

But as he got them to say, most of all of this has nothing to do with him. The individual states have control on health.

And now that individual states have massively varying outcomes it is now much harder to pin any blame on him.

( And in general the US is performing better than Europe )
