Try getting a (new) quote for the new digs, but starting in 1 month from now, the sweet spot is the 4->3 weeks before renewal. After that, price goes up as your flexibility (timescale) goes down.
Your current insurer is probably banking on you not looking mid cover, so stiffing you.
