Yeah we know.
Waiting for the new NHS levy which will also ensure nurses like Jenny and Luis can come in as they saved our "great" leader."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JR -
as they couldnt organise a pissup in a brewery , its looking like very few in the private sector will end up getting the promised support, but you can guarantee they will be screwed for tax on the other side of this, the public sector on the other hand...Comment

From last Thursday I heard a few journos laying in to how business support isn't workingOriginally posted by mrdonuts View Postas they couldnt organise a pissup in a brewery , its looking like very few in the private sector will end up getting the promised support, but you can guarantee they will be screwed for tax on the other side of this, the public sector on the other hand..."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Erm, the one thing they CAN organise is increase in taxation - it’s going to be carpet bombing with B61sOriginally posted by mrdonuts View Postas they couldnt organise a pissup in a brewery , its looking like very few in the private sector will end up getting the promised support, but you can guarantee they will be screwed for tax on the other side of this, the public sector on the other hand...Comment

Time to go permie.
Only 'perk' of contracting in a few months will be no performance reviews, but boy, will you pay for that privilege.

Move to somewhere in Scandinavia. Some services here are the pits but the overall taxation isn't all that high when compared to Scandinavia, but tax is taken from individuals and businesses differently here compared to most Scandinavian countries.Originally posted by Andy2 View Postonly thing they can do properly is raise taxes
welcome to Socialist Republic of United Kingdom
The Tories are fond of spreadsheet management but they don't understand the calculations behind the numbers and that's why they generally let things burn when genuine action is required.
I'm glad to see the journalists see through the con that only favours large business - it's what the Tories are famous for. They don't like SMEs, as they can't be on the board of those SMEs. If the UK system wasn't designed to have a party in power and "the opposition" and was instead a better formed democracy then I don't doubt there would be a coalition in power now. The public see two main parties and the power jumps to and from them both every so often - it's stupid and not really much of a fair democracy, as is shown by the mishandling of this pandemic and the lack of "the opposition".Comment

Try Ireland: Scandinavian levels of taxation; public services worse than UK.Originally posted by rogerfederer View PostMove to somewhere in Scandinavia.
