Shine on you crazy diamond by the floyd. 8 mins in, still another 6 to go. Magic."Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny. "

That is a tough one, so much quality to choose from!Originally posted by Fishface View Postget The Fall itunes essentials - it is ace 75 tracks.
my cassettes were too f**cked after 20 years of play
whats your favourite Fall track ?
Living too late comes close:
Sometimes life is like a new bar
Plastic seats, beer below par
Food with no taste, music grates
I'm living too late
Once talking was my favourite while
But now I'm no conversationeer
The thrill is done
Maybe I'm living too long
But possibly Leave the Capitol - had it as my ring tone for ages:
The tables covered in beer
Showbizwhines, minute detail
Its a hand on the shoulder in Leicester Square
Its vaudeville pub back room dusty pictures of
White frocked girls and music teachers
The beds too clean
The waters poison for the system
Then you know in your brain
LEAVE THE CAPITOL!
EXIT THIS ROMAN SHELL!
Then you know you must leave the capitol
Anyway, now listening to The La's - what an album

My favourite Fall stuff is prob still mostly of Live at the Witch Trials, Dragnet and singles from around then. Bought some later stuff every decade or so - they must have fifty albums or something surely?
Saw thema few times as well sometimes even with some of the same band members - never less than interesting
Is Lee Mavers officialy the scouse Syd Barret now?Comment
