Sounds like you are in the same client as me. Permie chap I work wth has just got a 1.06% pay rise. Not a happy chappy.

I reckon his pay rise wouldn't even pay for my lunches for a month. I'm going out far too much for lunches these days. Tapas, Thai, Indian ..... at that was today.

I'm sitting next to a permie who is speaking to an advisor about remortgaging for a 30 year period. If they ask me who I have my mortgage with should I tell them the truth (Mortgage free club) or tell them I'm with Abbey.

My client (permie team boss ) has got roughly the same house as I do and is the same age but he's saying he's wife needs to come back to work ASAP (maternity) as they are mortgaged to the hill. OUCH.

He'll get a nasty shock when he finds out how much childcare is.... Probably blow his wifes wage on it

Yeah cleared out all my Joy Division, Velvet Underground, Led Zepplin vinyl collection... if only
