I've just been called regarding a permanent role with "consultancy" that farms their "staff" out to Cap Gemini who in turn farm them out to end clients... each layer taking a cut in fee revenue. All because the end clients won't be taking on contractors post April 2020.
HOW on God's green Earth is this in anyway more cost effective than hiring a contractor via an agency?
****'s sake.
