          Cognitive Dissonance

          Sometime around 30 AD Jesus was convinced the world would end in a matter of days. That was his single message: "Prepare yourself for the imminent Armageddon". We never really got a clear take on how he coped with that not happening for weeks on end, months on end. That nothing had happened even after 2000 years would be a real bummer for him.
