Oh dear, I actually met a lady who came back to Europe from Venezuela recently, they had many properties, were quite well off, now her properties worth nothing, she has no money at all, she is trying to get any job back in Europe to support her family back in Venezuela (as she has a European passport) when I say any job, I mean any job, even going for dog walking or health care assistant.. anything ... but the problem is she is already 63, hardly worked at all as she spent her life as a housewife / landlady.... I felts so bad for her, imagine this happening to someone at 63!!

The super rich don’t pay tax here anyway. They won’t be leaving, and their money was never here to start with (except for the bit tied up in high-end Kensington properties).
