I agree with you in some respects. On one hand you want unity on the other hand when someone departs from biblical principles you have to point it out. The greatest threat to the church is not persecution but complacency. When the church is no different to the society around it - thats a big problem. We are meant to be the light of the world and reflect the glory of Jesus unto a lost and fallen world.

Nice to see some normal Christians on this board. No this doesn't include Chico. He's a nutter and gives Christianity a bad name. I also tried having a reasonable argument with him, and every question was either twisted in meaning so it fitted his own beliefs, or was ignored completely.

Good Christians will debate in a reasonable way with people and not try and force their beliefs down others throats. Chico, on the other hand, refuses to debate and is constantly on here putting down the "self-styled athiests" including using the word athiest as an insult which of course it isn't - it is merely another kind of belief, the belief that there is no God. He is a fundamentalist and thus worthy of complete and utter ostracision.

Now I have found out that Chico's church is one of the most influential in the Church of England I shall propose it as our next religious target. We have tried very hard to talk to CofE people - had a meeting with that Black bishop of York. All we get is nonsense. They only understand direct action.

So who will join me at a demo at Chico's church? Who wants to dress as the pope?
