The concept of Christian nations was invented by politicians within the Church (popes, bishops, cardinals, etc) to gain power, and politicians / monarchs / nobles outside the church to convince religious people to help them gain or hold power. It's just a political construct that actually has very little to do with any real religious belief.
OK, but then would you claim that the modern state of Israel could have been created by any other religious ideology? Unlikely I'd say. So, a nation with a Christian ideology paved the way for the restoration of the Jewish homeland.

The UK is NOT a Christian nation.
Many of the people in the UK who label themselves as "Christian" most certainly do not act in a Christ-like way
many, at least in Wales anyway, follow a Christian ideology. Technically, to be a Christian, you must believe in one baptism for the remission of sins, life everlasting and the Holy trinity. I guess most couldn't call themselves Christian, although would claim to live their lives to Christian principles.

Seriously JtB, you do spout some tulipe!
OK, go and stand outside a non Christina place of worship and make some blasphemous statements about their religion and see how you get on. Christians outside a church would just ignore you.

It's not so long ago you would be killed for saying this to christendogs either. Just over a 100 years ago it would trigger the same reaction as it does at the moment in other religions, like painting a mohammed picture with a suicide belt or saying mohammed was a pedo.
In Northern Ireland they are still ready to kill eachother over slightly different versions of their fairy religion BTW

wasn't there a claim that the Holy Grail had been kept in Strata Florida and that the stick that Moses changed into a snake is in Birmingham museum?

That's one opinion on what it means to be a Christian, but not everyone would agree with you or the Nicean Creed - since it takes one text out of context - something that you are very good at doing.
It's like taking Matthew 16:18 and ignoring the two verses before it. Some don't see the difference between "The rock" and "A rock"

Also, you are mixing up being Christ-like with following the teachings of Peter.

that is what the Church of England in Wales teaches, which is what I was taught for my confirmation.
