What is locum? More importantly, are the rates good if you have this skill?

Or is it locum like a doctor?

Rates are very good - depends on speciality of course - same as IT.

Best rates for locum doctors is in Psychiatry - my man used to get sooooo pissed off that he decided to go into real medicine instead of Psychiatry. He thought he could've made a fortune !!

Also Locum GPs are paid well

          Carpe Pactum

Locum... posh term for contractor (usually professional) but seems to be spreading.
