I get up AFTER the sun rises, not before. I’ve done the getting up early on a cold, wet, dark Monday morning to travel for hours. That is for the youngsters, I don’t have to do that no more.

    EDIT:
Exception being a) I have an early morning flight, b) I am busting for a piss.

6.30 to be in for 8. 6.30 is a great compared to the 4am starts when having to catch the first flights out to the continent.

mind you - kids render lazy sleep a thing of the past. they get you up at all times and they get up early. anything after 6.30 on a weekend is a lie-in.

I was thinking about that when my kids where at that age i.e. less than 5 yo, by 9 am it was lunch time for us .. its funny but ture, people used to call me 9sh and I tell them sorry we are havign lunch now

Still I was exhausted at the time, and I insisted the kids have a nap so that I could too !!

9am this morning. Usually somewhere between 9 and 11am, bit of breakfast, bit of studying, off down the gym for a workout, jacuzzi and sauna, tea in the bar while reading the daily paper, back home for lunch then the afternoon free to do whatever I feel like.

              Downtime is a marvellous thing...

              Older and ...well, just older!!

7:15 to be on site by 9:00-9:30 depending on traffic. Finish as and when.

Mondays aer a b*tch because I have to travel from home, so now that I have a motorbike and traffic is irrelevant I can get up at 6:30, out by 7 and at work by 10 (including stop pit when arrived at destination for body warm-up shower, shave and getting changed). Tuesday to Friday don't get up before 8:30, which is nice.
