            No. They don't have to do business with you at all.

            It could be a condition of the end client. I think it was Barclays Capital who only allowed Ltd, no umbrellas but that was sometime back.

            I'd push them on specifically why and if it isn't driven by the client threaten to walk away. They'll most likely change their tune.

                It works both ways, they can choose not to work with you and can’t force you to work for them and you can choose to walk away and not work with them.

                The terms are a negotiation, we should all be well versed in how not to negotiate after watching brexit go on for years.
