Yes. This happened in the carpark by my local station last year. Everyone who parked there got a ticket (including me) and appeal turned down with quotation of relevant parking regulation in response.
    Hmm http://www.lgo.org.uk/pdf/parking-enforcement.pdf

Albeit directed at councils - but would have thought railways would have towed the line..

Authorities should consider cancelling PCN's in the following circumstances

a: The parking meter or all nearby pay-and-display machines were faulty
    annoyingly not mandatory
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Yeah, the feckers "considered it" and decided not to.

Ahh the disadvantages of being 'nice' & 'respectable'... you are left seething at the injustice of it all.
Having exhausted the process the solution would be to find out where they live and thermite their cars until they 'reconsider' the verdict... but you won't, and I wouldn't, so we live with the world as it is.

Guess I must be fortunate. The original meter was out of action for the last 5 months & I never got a ticket!

Metal powder like iron or aluminium, mixed with an oxidising agent like Sodium Nitrate, filler such as sand and a binder like waterglass.

Burns slowly but is almost impossible to extinguish.

PS don't smoke while mixing it or Darwin will get you.

Can I put parking tickets through my Ltd as an expense?

Finally got a ticket the other day
