He's a desktop support monkey. If you asked him his favourite acronym, you'd need to explain an acronym with an analogy, and then you'd need to explain an analogy, and eventually you'd get to PIP. He likes to screw over the taxpayer in simple ways, not by putting a false moustache on an offshore loan and calling it a salary.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostYou think he is declaring it?Comment

Even though I will never understand why people work *Inside* IR35, six months is good work. Have a plantain.

qhHe had a negative bluety on a quackhandle and was quadraspazzed on a lifeglug.
I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

Makes no odds as long as the bottom line is the same for me. Example below:-Originally posted by quackhandle View PostEven though I will never understand why people work *Inside* IR35, six months is good work. Have a plantain.

1. Previous Gig - £X a day.
Outside IR35, ltd company, 120 miles roundtrip, expenses, low salary, dividends etc.
Take home minus travel costs = X
2. Current gig - £X + 35% (client hiked it in April 2017 because contractors left and they had no choice).
Inside IR35, umbrella, 30 miles roundtrip, no expenses, all income goes through as PAYE.
Take home minus travel costs = X (PRETTY MUCH THE SAME)
Could be argued that current position is better. I'm not going to get investigated for IR35 am I?Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment
