Well the Navman i originally bought my wife was cheaper, but after it being utter tulipe, taking a good 15 mins to lock on and trying to take her through fields I sent it back and paid more for a TomTom which is brilliant.

So in my experiance Navman is cheaper but worse (although I didn't get the all singing all dancing top of the range model of either).

My navman seems to take forever to get a signal. When it does it looses it and tells me to turn around and when it's cold, doesnt seem to work at all.

If I want to go somewhere I know the best route for it sends me somewhere else!!!!!

A real man only needs a £2.99 roadmap and relies on his inbuilt sense of direction. Satnav is for women and SASguru.

I remember the good old days of this site when people used to moan about serious contractor related issues like house prices and immigration. How times have changed!?

Funny then, that I don't have a sat nav, isn't it? Come to think of it, I don't have a car either. Real men get driven everywhere.

People should be suspicious of a man who doesn't own a car, but owns a manbag.

Indeed they should. Perhaps you should get rid of your manbag and buy a car?

I want a pda with tomtom on - what is the best to go for?
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                  I preferred version 1!
