'Riden'? Is that the act of riding off, just before being ridden?

Tackling up is the act of dressing the horse, tacking up is the act of tightening the buckles. As the horse was getting dressed before, and put into a box to be taken to, the hunt, it was only tackled up, after arriving and taken out of the box, and just before being riden, it was tacked up.

Sorry Threaded, I just read the name of the poster and rightly assumed "Bulltulipe" - and what do you make of the word SABOTEUR?

That'd be the obs. imp. pl. & p. p. of Ride, according to the dictionary.

          Someone who wears old/wooden shoes?

Sorry about that. I thought I was living in 21st century England, when in actual fact I'm reading a blog of someone on the way to Canturbury with Chaucer.
..Or should it be 'Ye blogge'?

                Bring back legal hunting!!

Lots of jobs for people in the countryside who can do nowt else, removal of various pesky fox's and with a bit of luck a reduction in protestors as they jump in front of horses and get trampled to death.

It's only the lovey dovey townie idots who wanted it banned anyway, anybody who lives in the country knows that animals die regulary and it is a part of the natural order. I still remember the first time i went over a rabbit with a townie in my car. She screamed and shouted because I didn't slow down or try to avoid it, to which I replied "So you would rather I drive head first into the oncoming car, or swerve off the road and kill us both to save the life of some rabbit who is too stupid to not run in front of my car??" She still didn't seem to get it and got very upset when I explained that the poor thing probably never knew what hit it because the big bump and crunch was most likely it's head going under a wheel.

                These townies......

For what other purpose did the fox evolve other than fox-hunting?

Shouldn't people just hunt the animals who could actually hunt back?
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.
