Hidden talents
Fabulous! It never ceases to amaze me how such hidden talents emerge. This is one of the issues with academia I have. Formal academic education very often doesn't identify latent talents that people have. I have three real millionaire acquaintances and all three left school at 15 without any qualifications and one is particularly challenged academically, often using malapropisms . A moral there somewhere.
Ponder this question when determining intelligence -
If a pygmy from the Congo and a person from a rural area in this country were to exchange places, without any accompanying facilities, which would survive the longer? So which one would the IQ test determine as the more intelligent?Comment

As for your question it’s the age old difference of academic intellect vs practical intelligence both have their places, I think the pigmy would practically survive but may have greater mental trauma from the experienceGrowing old is mandatory
