Not always. I knew one person (not well) who never wore any maternity wear and barely showed throughout the entire pregnancy. I didn't even know she was pregnant because she even wore jeans when she was 7 months gone. It does happen, although the vast majority of women do of course put on weight and obviously show a large rounded abdomen.Originally posted by SockpuppetComment

I can remember a report of some skinny lady who just couldn't lose that extra 6 or 7 lbs she'd put on... until one day it popped out & starting crying... not sure if it wasn't delivered down the bog or not.
My mum (who used to be a midwife) related tales of women delivering babies on the bog, coz they thought they wanted a quick poo & got a surprise instead.Comment
