There are some nice parts but nobody on here will have heard of Bamford or Norden.

I live in Norden. The road through the village takes you up to the M66 and along the M65. So you miss all the crap on the M6 - joining at Preston. It's a doddle of a journey.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

          I preferred version 1!

I know it well, my sister-in-law lives there. Love the mixed grill at Owd Betts and get to Nutters once in a while for a treat.

Last time I went to Nutters it was the other side of Owd Betts!

How is Andrew? Has he crashed his car recently?

Nutters is before you get to Owd Betts, which overlooks Ashworth Reservoir.
They relocated about 14 years ago.

Not sure how Andrew is but did you know Rodney passed away in Dec 2016?

I knew that Nutters had moved, just haven't had chance to visit the "new" restaurant.

I didn't know that Rodney had passed away, he was a very jovial chap, looking after the wine cellar.

The reason they are moving in the first place is because of Brexit. Independent Scotland will at least be in EFTA with single market access so even more will move north then.

Haven't you noticed the financial jobs moving to Europe from London? Once you lose the passporting they will flood out.
