Nobody said life has to be a distance event!
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Ah but you won't feel like that as you get older. I think the thing to do is to be a complete hedonist till you're 35 (really give it some and get it out of your system), then ease off the pedal ...

IR43 Sas. I may change my mind, but my main fear in life is rotting away slowly, house bound and incontinent.

More likely to do that with an unhealthy lifestyle. All you have to do is replace bad habits with different fun ones e.g. give up smoking -> use the extra cash for an extra skiing holiday.

                Therefore:

                Smoking: Quit
Drinking: Moderated but still too much. Weekend binge drinker.
Eating: Very healthy (always liked fruit and veg)
                Weight: Normal for height
Exercise: 3 times a week - running, squash, tennis

                Anyone else?
.. and by doing all of this you will then live forever ?

No but I hope to have a healthier middle-old age. I know now that my mental age won't change when I'm 65 and I'd like my body to be reasonably in shape to do what I want to do.

There is no point being the richest person in the graveyard, as someone once posted on here. Bogey I think it was.
