Sexist! -
IBM have recently made another large set of Involuntary redundancies across their Technical Specialists, in the UK - leaving around 20 June.
Who they have left to try an unbungle the mess is of concern? IBM are only interested in keeping Sales people, with the Technical bods largely offshore now...I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. My best stab at IBM is Sabadell could be using Websphere, and the main problem has been with middleware. However I couldn't find anything to corroborate that although they do use Infosphere which might be in the same area."Don't part with your illusions; when they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live" Mark TwainComment

Just thinking about what the enormity of the challenge was, I can quite believe that objectively speaking what Sabadell, TSB, their highly skilled contractors etc achieved was actually fairly heroic."Don't part with your illusions; when they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live" Mark TwainComment
