There are loads of young graddies in the aerospace world. Also don't forget Airbus has sites here designing wings and fuel systems etc.

It is one of the areas in engineering where we genuiely have world class skills.

The reason Tornado and EFA are multi-nation is the cost.

Some people in this country still do real software engineering and not playing around with Mr Gates toys.

Is that an asset or a hinderence? the Gulf war saw quite a few downed - or did the RAF do more risky ops than the Yanks?

Do the Yanks have a Terrain Following Radar?

Yeah good all rounder but outclassed in each specialism by the latest specialist jets.

Could a Tornado dogfight with the latest fighters?

My knowledge is shaky on this but I thought the B1 had GT technology

                      B1 or B1B? I like planes with swingy-wings!
