Getting 130 something diplomats sent home around the world has been a masterclass in diplomacy by the UK. May has played this all extremely well.

Tories were behind in the polls a couple of weeks ago, I said in the other thread they would be 6 point ahead soon over the way May has dealt with this, yesterday they were 4 in front. It will be 6 or more in a month.

    Enough to get a majority
Minor diplomatic spat. Will all blow over.

It will be a permanent change until Putin leaves. He pushed the boat out too far this time.

So you have proof that Putin did it? That's a bit more than everyone else who has been supporting the UK government has seen so could you possibly share it with the rest of the world
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

What burden of proof? Beyond reasonable doubt? Balance of probabilities?

I'm going to suggest they know it was Russia and have proof.

They just don't go around telling everyone as the Russians tend to kill people they suspect of giving the west information.

              On the balance of probabilities.

On the one hand we have the strong and stable leader of a world power, on the other hand we have Theresa May. Which one is more likely?

              1. Putin has successfully pulled off an assassination using a nerve toxin in the UK.
              2. May has succesfully constructed a fake conspiracy to discredit Russia.

If the UK is capabable of constructing this conspiracy, it's quite capable of ensuring Yulia doesn't get better.

Maybe this thread needs renaming "Official Russian propaganda thread"

We're certainly going all out on them based on some ropey allegations and off the back of basically losing Syria.

Neither; whoever done it was an amateur. It seems likely it was a third party either to discredit Russia or to help the Tories or Russian Mafia.
