Nope I'm long... don't know where the bottom is - timing the market I leave to others."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

Yup ... we were travelling 9 months later and we were pretty sure the Indians would have rebuilt the hotel by then
If anybody hasn't been it's worth doing the basic northern tour, visiting the south for its food and also the northern tea plantations. The real beauty of India is the south and the north east, followed by north west. The food is arguably better in the south too, but you won't go hungry - and if you have any dietary requirements then it's easy to avoid them by choosing one of the twenty V symbols that don't simply denote 'vegetarian' but accommodate the diets of religious entities. If onions and garlic trouble you then you want to follow the Jainism V, as an example.
It's one of the best countries to visit if you want to see potential everywhere, but you have to be the type of traveler who won't panic at seeing a child run over by a car in the street (the car doesn't stop, of course) or a woman being slapped. The upside is you can intervene and have a chance of being understood when you speak: English is prevalent, even among some of the poorer children. The levels of poverty are really on par with the third world countries.Comment

I'd recommend Kerala and a houseboat through the backwater canals, the Venice of the East. Mrs Scooter & I did this some years ago. Slowly floating along the river with our own chef preparing our meals. Tranquil tropical scenes. Then the phone rings, an agent in Manchester. Killed it man."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

MLVN Stock Price and Chart — LSE:MLVN — TradingView — UK
I'm not picking the bottom because I don't time the markets.
I have no loss or profit plan, just random, bimble along wibble approach to investing.

I'd like to have suggested "except freedom of expression and speech" but India is seeing the same populist nonsense as the US and UK, so I that statement simply doesn't apply there now.
