Before there were photos and porn mags, there was art. The rich would commission pictures of Venus, nymphs, Daphne, Leda and the Swan etc etc so they could have naked pics adorning their houses and palaces, and say it was art, therefore ok.
Well it's not OK anymore

It is just because they are fat and ugly isn't it - they are almost saying it is not fair that people are less fat and more pretty than me - so any pictures of them should be taken down so as not to remind me.
I believe radical feminism has reached the popcorn phase now they are directly impacting the 'mean girls' who bullied them at school and excluded them from social circles.
This could get ugly...

so it's neither an attack on him nor a puff piece. I can't actually work out the point of the article other than to invite ******* and bitches to the comment section...... Oh hang on, that IS the point of most Guardian journalism these days. Clickbait to infuriate the easily infuriated.
I agree it's all over the place. But I do think it's an attack but in a roundabout way. So it goes on about how he was involved and hosted the men only event were some of the hostesses where groped. Then she starts to say well if you get over that and look at his books.
Then there is the snide reference to a mother who complained about jokes about knickers, then she say well they are supposed to be funny.
Then the end paragraphic again references the men only event.
Basically, it's a bit of character assassination. Kind of snidey as well, rather than just saying I don't like this guy.

I don't know if it will get ugly. The problem is now you can't discuss many subjects because you will be accused of being sexist, racist, fatist etc.
So, companies are afraid, if they are subject to a campaign it could affect business.
How long before men only events are banned or organisation decide to not host them because of the negative publicity.
I know I’m going to get into a lot of trouble for saying this. In fact it’ll not be popular at all and will probably lead to a ban. Indeed for anyone reading this, I’m not going to give any apologies but I feel it is important to speak my mind. Otherwise if I do not then it is all one sided. I just wanted to let you know, I’m selling potatoes.
Mansplaining is really rather tedious. New chap at ClientCo is one of those. I ask a yes/no question, I get at 15 minute lecture on his deep and meaningful thoughts on the topic, at the end of which I ask "are you saying yes or no?". That triggers another 15 minutes. It's a great way to waste a day.
