If only the baby boomers had brought their kids up teaching them respect, hard work, etc, rather than replacing it by giving them toys and money.Originally posted by HugeWhale View PostYet another baby boomer blaming the kids for everything.
Remember, it's always the kids fault for how they were brought up, never the parents.

Parents have no way of disciplining their kids these days. Gone are the good old days when you could beat them to within an inch of their lives. Or buy the local bobby a pint to do it for you.Originally posted by WTFH View PostIf only the baby boomers had brought their kids up teaching them respect, hard work, etc, rather than replacing it by giving them toys and money.

Lobbying by the supermarkets, I suspect. Much easier to carry on as we are but charge the consumer 10p for each plastic bag than upset the supermarkets, which are the cause of the problem...Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostIn Zurich late 1980s all supermarkets only gave out tough paper bags. And had been for a few years. I thought the UK would have been there by now....His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment

Is it because of how all supermarkets support Jeremy Corbyn? After all, he’s the reason why everything is wrong in this country, it’s never the fault of the tory government.Originally posted by Mordac View PostLobbying by the supermarkets, I suspect. Not really - although he is a bit of a ******.Originally posted by WTFH View PostIs it because of how all supermarkets support Jeremy Corbyn? After all, he’s the reason why everything is wrong in this country, it’s never the fault of the tory government.
Actually caught some footage of him at Glastonbury the other day - it was like watching your dad try to be trendy - it was awful.
But not sure he has anything to do with supermarkets.Comment
