Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

ITYF that they are relatively recent Grads. A quick calculations shows that this is the same, real-term, salary as I was on when I left a perm job to become a contractor with three years experience. People on the sort of salary that a 2-3 year experience grad would get, cannot afford to live on their own in most of the SE. They can't do it now, they couldn't do it 10 years ago, they couldn't do it 20 years ago, and they (probably) couldn't do it 30 years ago.
Nothing has changed here (except the relative cost of buying against renting).

Is that code for "we dont expect anyone to even consider moving for this..."
