The secret millionaire

On ch 4 last night, millionaire gives away money to needy cases in deprived areas. Last night it was the murder mile, I was looking out for SASguru, alas he wasn't on it.

The guy's ethos was he had done well, admittedly he was self made, but support of family and friends had helped him get where he was, he realised some people don't have that kind of support. I know some people on here don't believe that some people are a victim of their backgrounds in in many ways held back by them so:

Or someone with some morals, sense of decency and a heart, helping people with potential get a foot on the ladder?

If he spends his own money then its fine. Socialist crap starts when higher taxes are imposed and then wasted on things that don't work out as intended.

and I watched 'Evicted' last night, about families with children who are homeless. The attitude of the councils was sickening and the impact on the children was sobering to say the least...

I swa that while waiting for Match Of The Day. Very sad and just shows how well our taxes are spent to keep some of those council workers in a job.

With the amount of public money being spent in the inner-city they should all be millionaires. If you want real poverty visit rural Britain or somewhere like Minehead where you can see families taking shelter in bus stops while the local council pisses money up the wall on diversity celebrations.
