My son is 22 and a shiit hot guitarist, i've posted his stuff here before, he can also look at musical notation and just play it.

And his mates go - 'It's not fair you can play guitar and read music, you're dead lucky...'

Err, what about studying it for yonks and practising scales for hours on end, days on end etc...

I get this sort of thing a lot about fighting. People telling me how lucky I am to be a natural and how they wish they had the time to train. I point out that I am not a natural, I have just been training for years more than they have and I train a lot. I have time to train because I find time to train. There is nothing magical about it.

There are plenty of people who can thrash me though. I wish I was a natural like them and had as much time to train as they do.
