You should go to the North Pole and refresh your ideas about persecution mania.Originally posted by BrilloPad View Posthttps://www.theguardian.com/world/20...opean-airports
British passengers flying to and from continental Europe for their summer holidays face the prospect of “devastating” delays because of tougher Schengen area border controls.
Sadly, the UK will just play fair and not introduce just as strict border controls for those from the schrengen area.
Though Southern Europe, which relies heavily on UK tourists, will see a huge drop in visitors next year. They will all go to Filey instead...
The tourism in the South increase a lot this year and we have more security checks, further more, the UK does not belong to the Schengen space, so stop moaning a get a life...Comment

Wrong. The majority of north western Europe's flight to North America go over the UK out over NW Scotland via a rigid set of air corridors. These take advantage of great circle navigation and for eastbound flights the Jet stream. If the north most corridor has to skirt the channel the south most will be down at the Pyrenees. This is a major, time consuming, and costly diversion. (Gibbon in I used to work at NATs mode.)Originally posted by BlasterBates View PostPreventing UK airlines from landing at EU airports is not the same as blocking their airspace, but if the UK responded by blocking its airspace it would be a mild inconvenience for the EU, as flights could easily be diverted over France, however if the EU blocked its airspace, it would be a major hindrance for UK airlines to being able to fly East. But I discovered nothing else but depraved, excessive superstition. But we are leaving the EU, meaning we no longer have to abide by their stupid laws - bury the suckers, that would teach them not to venture into UK airspace.Originally posted by WTFH View PostThey don't.
