Like I said. The laws of nature 'want' to create order, structure and beauty.

This is inherrent in things like musical scales (ratios of frequencies and harmonics) etc.

Things that follow basic natural rules like harmonic progression, geometry (e.g. the 'Golden Section'), fractals (the Lorenz attractor), or whatever, are pleasing to us for some reason, and simply 'want' or 'need' to form given the way that physical laws and constants operate in our universe.

This notion does give rise to theoretical universes where things are mostly crap and look and sound awful however.
