I would not be surprised to see a state of emergency

and here's the thing, if this was WWI or WWII we'd all know to a large extent who the enemy are (where enemy in this sense are those who intend to harm us), and we would have been prepared with sufficient items to protect ourselves

if we were to leave home in 2017 and go into central London, and be prepared for the unknown by having on our presence some items which could be used for self defence/protection, we'd be locked up

obviously we need to be vigilant, I looked into rucksacks with stab proof backs, but there are not many on the market and they have all sold out
