Yes, part of the fun of an American-hosted board is saying things that wouldn't pass the Nanny if only they knew what it meant. -

I guess if you look hard enough you'll find a daft case where this was a defence (and possibly a defence that worked) but to use that in a sweeping statement is....I'll say it again.....tulipe (which be is).The pope is a tard.Comment

My colleague was stabbed by his ex. Her excuse was it was the wrong time of month; she go off for that reason. There was a high profile case last year that I will not bother looking up (BBC Website) where the woman murdered her husband and she got off at the Court of Appeal for the same reason.Originally posted by SallyAnne"Even if they get to court the mere excuse of it being the wrong time of month is good enough to get them off an assault or murder charge"

I will look up the statistics. The ones I am referring to were incidentally compiled by a Lady Professor at University."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

I'm sorry but I just dont believe you about your colegue. I'm sure thats what he's told you, but being "on the blob" is not a defence to assault/murder in this country (or anywhere that I'm aware of!)Originally posted by PaddyMy colleague was stabbed by his ex. If these statistics you're referring to are of how many lasses murder people during their period, I wouldn't be suprised - thats quie an interesting study.
If the statistics are how many women have used this as a defence, then I'd be VERY interested to see them. Using my common sense however, I would hazzard a guess that each of them had been diagnosed with a mental illness which was significantly worse during that time of the month. The pope is a tard.Comment
