I'm sorry but I just dont believe you about your colegue. I'm sure thats what he's told you, but being "on the blob" is not a defence to assault/murder in this country (or anywhere that I'm aware of!)

If these statistics you're referring to are of how many lasses murder people during their period, I wouldn't be suprised - thats quie an interesting study.

If the statistics are how many women have used this as a defence, then I'd be VERY interested to see them. Using my common sense however, I would hazzard a guess that each of them had been diagnosed with a mental illness which was significantly worse during that time of the month.

I guess if you look hard enough you'll find a daft case where this was a defence (and possibly a defence that worked) but to use that in a sweeping statement is....I'll say it again.....tulipe (which be is).

There is a real problem with our society whereby it seems acceptable for women to be violent. There is academic research done that shows that women are committing more than 50% of violent attacks but they have a far less a chance of being prosecuted then men. Even if they get to court the mere excuse of it being the wrong time of month is good enough to get them off an assault or murder charge.

My own personal experience is the last lime any male attacked me was at school (many years ago) However since then I have only been attacked by mad and drunken women be it complete strangers on the street or in the home by the ex.

The last 419 e-mail I received (to business e-mail addr) I replied, "unfortunately XYZ Intl Ltd only deal with international transactions of $30million and over".

Touch wood (not Torchwood) - I've never received another 419er.
