Definitely not. I've chosen the main opposition to them in my area."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JR -

Rudd keeps telling jokes about the money the Tories have spent on public services. Well they must be jokes as the audience laughter when she said the Tories has spent lots of money on public services."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Erm, yeah, that's the whole point of spelling things out in an election campaign, to sway people's opinions.Originally posted by original PM View PostShe cannot spell it out because it will sway peoples opinions.Comment

I'm sure you and your brethren were absolutely spitting teeth at any suggestion that there needed to be an election just a few weeks ago.Originally posted by original PM View PostHas anyone ever stopped to think that maybe the election was called because May knows she inherited the PM role and wants to give people the chance to vote prior to Brexit.
Like she is doing the right thing by giving people the chance to decide who manages Brexit?
If anything she's realised what a disaster Brexit is going to be and wants out. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

No, she just locks the press in a room and makes a bunch of poor factory workers listen to her...Originally posted by original PM View PostI am not saying she is or will be a great pm but she is not doing the whole ego trip tv appearances fake debate crap.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

With modern media people have enough ways to find things out for themselves.Originally posted by meridian View PostErm, yeah, that's the whole point of spelling things out in an election campaign, to sway people's opinions.
The tv is just a mouth piece to speak to the people who refuse to seek facts for themselves.
Does this tv debate really give anyone anything but soundbites about things which will be spun to make themselves look good but in reality carry the weight of a ping pong ball?

Yes. She was useless as Home Secretary and now she is showing she is useless as Prime Minister. There are numerous clips of her saying that she would not be calling a snap election, then she called one with a piss poor excuse. Personally I think she called because she knows that Brexit is going to **** up the UK so she's made the worst manifesto in Conservative history hoping that the electorate vote someone else in...Originally posted by original PM View PostHas anyone ever stopped to think that maybe the election was called because May knows she inherited the PM role and wants to give people the chance to vote prior to Brexit.

So rather than spewing hate why not try some respect.
The easy thing to do would have been nothing.

But neither can you make things up to suit yourself, like "has anyone thought that maybe the election was called..."
Assuming you've followed your own advice and done your own research, you would know exactly what May has said her motivation for calling the election is.Comment
