I find the idea that people over 40 have to stay home all the time and not putting their nose outside, if not in their squallid local pub, is pretty much valid only in Britain. Don't you reckon? The enlightened EU seems to score much better on this.

I dont know where yous get that from - our pubs restaurants up here are full of "oldies". Its what makes it interesting.
