Of course he needs to be PM. He's the only one talking sense.Originally posted by Waldorf View PostSo you're seriously saying that you'd prefer to see Corbyn .
The Tories are ready to jump into Syria on the US's command. Corbyn is like, er no."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

Rumour is Corbyn is going to propose a coalition to get into power. With labour MPs.Comment

Definitely ... but again the idea is to stop the Tories from sweeping up all the seats... we need an opposition not a majority Tories to pass through any laws and dissolve the NHS as they feel like it.Originally posted by Waldorf View PostSo you're seriously saying that you'd prefer to see Corbyn or Farron in No. 10 !!
You people need to take your head out of the sand and really think, if you do prefer either of these two to be PM then vote for them but be careful what you wish for, they would be a disaster, especially propped up by Sturgeon.Comment

It's all we can do in an otherwise rubbish election with no real choice on the domestic matters that should concern us all beyond Brexit: NHS, education, police, jobs that actually grow GDP (real jobs, not Sports Direct zero contracts stuff). And of course, looking after the likes of contractors, self-employed and SMEs, whom the Tories would normally count in their core vote.
The fact that we won't see manifestos for another 2 weeks, and these probably won't contain specifics, just a tulip 'direction of travel', will prove that we're all in for a major bumming."My God, it's huge!!"

Excellent reposte from the EU to Theresa May's speech.
European Commission says it is 'too busy' to interfere in UK general election, after Theresa May claim | The Independent

It's so sad, such a pathetic figure on the world stage, is this the best the UK can do

Well Lynton told May that the speech would work just like his tactics worked for Goldsmith's campaign to be Mayor of London to get Khan elected...Originally posted by BlasterBates View PostExcellent reposte from the EU to Theresa May's speech.

The Mash is more accurate than the so-called real papers:
I am a strong, stable, paranoid lunatic, says May
We don’t give a tulip who wins your pathetic bunfight, responds EU“As if it matters who we’re negotiating with. As if it matters to us if it’s her, Corbyn, that Lib Dem non-entity or Clement Atlee risen from the grave. “It’s not personal, Theresa. You seem astonishingly clueless and easy to take advantage of, true, but that is all of Britain at the moment. “Interfere? Would a man pick sides in an argument with ants? Idiot ants, arguing about which of them gets to **** up the anthill? Or would he ready his magnifying glass either way?”
And one for the extra-delusional CUK'ers:
EU strangely not begging Britain for mercyEUROPEAN leaders do not seem to realise the EU will collapse when Britain leaves, puzzled Britons have observed.
Many feel the EU is being oddly uncooperative over Brexit when it should be grovelling before the UK’s all-powerful service economy and WW2-winning armed forces. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment
